The Interactive Business Card.

The Interactive Business Card is the next great innovation in business tools. A custom sized CD ROM which becomes your card and your information package. Be it a catalogue, portfolio, web site, presentation or annual report, it will fit neatly on the back of the card to be read by anyone with a computer (PC or Mac).

Variations

Although essentially the one product, it has been modified into three variations:

  1. CD ROM Card
  2. Plastic Moulded
  3. Recordable

CD ROM Card

Typical Price £1.37 each (ex VAT)*

  • Capacity: 30 Mb to 58 Mb, depending upon size.
  • Dimensions: Height - 58mm to 60mm, Width - 80mm.

The CD ROM Card is the original IBC. It is based on an ordinary CD ROM, which is cut down to a more convenient size. It can even be made into many different shapes, so long as at least 3 corners of the card touch the side of the 80 mm tray in the CD drive bay. Also available is a completely round 80 mm CD which holds 185 Mb.
Full size CD's can also be cut to shape.

Plastic Moulded

Typical Price £1.93 each (ex VAT)*

  • Capacity: 24 Mb to 40 Mb, depending on size.
  • Dimensions: Height - 56 mm to 58 mm; Width - 86 mm to 90 mm

The plastic moulded card is specifically engineered and manufactured to be a business card, and is approximately the size of a credit card. Unlike the CD ROM card, it is less flexible in terms of design as it is rectangular. To counter its shape, it has curved ridges, or nodules, on the underside. This card is, however, more durable than the CD ROM card. Some options include the addition of laser etching on the back of the card, and gold colouring both front and back.

Recordable

Typical Price £2.00 each (ex VAT)*

  • Capacity : 50 Mb.
  • Dimensions : Height - 63 mm ; Width - 80 mm

This is a recordable version of the CD ROM card for smaller production runs, or for DIY purposes. The Recordable card is very good for quickly saving presentations at the last minute! Labels, custom made by Avery, are available as an optional extra.
